Want an impressive collection of stories by talented authors!

Like A Child by Nicole ElsieRose is a charming story filled sweet descriptions and a main character who recaptures the beauty of her childhood. My favorite quote, “Perhaps I didn’t lose my childhood after all. It was only tucked deep inside, waiting for a moment like this.” Marie Desmere is a young woman who reconnects with her sisters and the wonder of her younger years. She was thoughtful, kind, creative, and she fit the role of eldest daughter perfectly. I enjoyed this winter-themed story and look forward to reading more by this author!

I absolutely loved the short story Like a Child! This whole anthology looks fabulous and I have yet to read the rest, but Nicole’s contribution is delightful. I loved the details and the vivid pictures of cozy vintage Christmas! The message was lovely, the snow scene especially was so cheerful, and I thought the ending was PERFECT as well. The whole story was uplifting, beautiful, and lots of fun to read!

Like A Child was such a sweet and heartwarming ode to growing up. The Little Women vibes were perfect and I just had to listen to the 1994 movie soundtrack while reading and it made the whole experience so much more immersive! I adored Nicole’s cozy 1800s descriptions and I felt like I was really there celebrating Christmas with Marie’s family. And the ending came very close to bringing me to nostalgic tears! 💙
